Welcome to the EC Family!

Every church has defining moments—and on Sunday March 10, 2024, Encounter Church experienced one we’ll never forget. For the first time in our church’s journey, we welcomed a large group of individuals and families into membership. It was a beautiful and humbling moment, a sign of God’s faithfulness and the growing heartbeat of this new church.

What started as a vision is now becoming a vibrant community. As each person stood before the church to affirm their faith, their commitment, and their desire to grow alongside Encounter, we were reminded that this isn’t just an organization—it’s a spiritual family.

These new members made vows rooted in Scripture and the Methodist tradition—to support the church with their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. It was powerful to hear so many voices say, “I will,”—a shared commitment to Jesus and to one another.

There was something incredibly moving about seeing such a diverse group—young and old, new believers and lifelong disciples—come together and say, “This is home.”
For our pastors and leaders, it was a moment of deep gratitude. For the rest of the church, it was a confirmation that God is building something real here—something rooted in love, truth, and the hope of the Gospel.

This large group of new members marks not an ending, but a new beginning. As we grow together, serve together, and follow Jesus together, we’re excited to see how God will use this body of believers to reach our community and beyond.
