Welcome, Taylor Tucker!

We are excited to share that Taylor Tucker has joined Encounter Church as our Interim Worship Leader! Taylor brings a beautiful blend of passion, intentionality, and authenticity to her leadership, and we are so grateful to have her guiding our congregation in worship during this season.

One of the unique elements Taylor brings each Sunday is a moment of silence before worship begins. This intentional pause invites us to slow down, quiet our hearts, and center our focus entirely on God. In a world full of noise and distractions, this simple practice has already become a meaningful way for us to prepare for worship together.

Taylor also has a beautifully natural style of leading worship—literally! Many Sundays, you’ll find her leading barefoot as a reminder to herself (and all of us) that we are standing on holy ground. This posture reflects the reverence and openness with which she leads, creating an environment where the Holy Spirit is truly welcomed.

We are incredibly thankful for Taylor’s willingness to serve Encounter Church during this transitional time. Her sensitivity to God’s presence and her heart for genuine worship have already been a blessing to our entire church family.
