UNITE Night

On a night filled with lights, worship, and life-changing encounters, the EC Youth group joined thousands of students from across the region for UNITE—a powerful worship gathering held at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY on February 12, 2025.

The atmosphere in Rupp was electric as Elevation Rhythm took the stage. With high-energy praise and deeply moving moments of worship, they led over 10,000 students into the presence of God. Hands were raised, voices filled the arena, and hearts were softened in a way that only the Spirit of God can do.

Our youth were front and center—worshiping without hesitation, singing loud, and experiencing the kind of joy that only comes when you're completely surrounded by God's presence and His people.

Throughout the night, dynamic guest speakers shared bold, gospel-centered messages about identity, purpose, and the hope found only in Jesus. Each message built on the last, calling students to open their hearts and respond to the truth of who God is and what He’s done for them. The stories were raw. The words were real. And the response was overwhelming.

As the final speaker gave a clear invitation to follow Jesus, a holy hush fell over the arena. Then, like a wave of surrender, over 4,000 students flooded the stage in response to the altar call—giving their lives to Christ, some for the very first time. Tears flowed, hugs were shared, and eternity shifted for thousands in that moment. It was the kind of night we pray for, dream about, and live to witness.

For our Encounter Church students, this wasn’t just a field trip—it was a faith marker. A night to say, “God is real. I saw Him move. I felt Him speak.” Friendships were deepened, faith was awakened, and a hunger for more of God took root in fresh ways.

We’re incredibly thankful for the leaders who organized UNITE, the volunteers who made it happen (shout out Drew Jordan!), and the God who still saves, still calls, and still transforms.

For our Youth — this is just the beginning. Let’s keep showing up, worshiping boldly, and saying yes to Jesus. Let’s stay united.
