A Very Merry Life Group

On December 4, 2024, the Encounter Church Youth Group gathered for a night full of laughter, sprinkles, and paint-covered fingers as we celebrated the Christmas season with a hands-on Life Group night!

Students spent the evening painting wooden Christmas ornaments and decorating cookies with all the frosting, candy, and holiday cheer you could imagine. It was the perfect blend of creativity, community, and Christmas fun.

The room was buzzing with energy as students designed their own ornaments—each one unique, just like them. Some were elegant, some silly, and a few were... well, a little abstract—but all were made with heart. Meanwhile, the cookie decorating station quickly turned into a delicious mess of icing, sprinkles, and some serious sugar highs!

Whether they were making gifts for others or just enjoying the moment with friends, it was a time of connection and joy that reminded us all how special it is to be part of the body of Christ during the holidays.

We want to give a huge thank you to Kari Martin for supplying all the materials for this night of fun! From the wooden ornaments to the cookie dough and toppings, your generosity made it possible for our students to create, laugh, and celebrate the season together. Your behind-the-scenes love and support didn’t go unnoticed—we are so grateful.

Nights like this remind us that faith is formed not just in sermons, but in shared moments, covered in frosting and joy.
