Youth Sunday!

On June 22, 2025, Encounter Church experienced the first youth-led Sunday service. From worship to preaching, testimonies to communion, these students stepped boldly into their callings, showing us all that God is actively working in and through the next generation.

One of the morning’s most powerful testimonies came from Annabelle Conforti, who shared vulnerably about God’s provision in her life. Her story spoke to the faithfulness of God in both small and significant moments, and it encouraged everyone listening to trust in His care—even when the path ahead is uncertain.

In place of Pastor Jamie, Drew Jordan stepped up to preach, delivering a compelling message centered on Luke 19:1-10 and Revelation 3:20:

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Drew reminded us that Jesus is constantly pursuing our hearts, patiently waiting for us to open the door and invite Him in. His message was rich with insight, encouraging us to respond—not just with words, but with our lives.

Youth Sunday was more than a themed event—it was a powerful reminder that when we give space for young people to lead, the Spirit moves in fresh and beautiful ways. These students showed maturity, boldness, and a deep love for Jesus. They didn’t just participate in church—they led us in worship, testimony, the Word, and communion.

To Annabelle, Drew, and the entire youth team—thank you for blessing us. And to the leaders and families who invest in them week after week—thank you for raising a generation who knows and follows Jesus.

The church is alive. The Spirit is moving. And the next generation is rising.
