Easter 2025 at EC

Easter Sunday 2025 was a beautiful celebration at Encounter Church—a day full of joy, reflection, and the powerful reminder that Jesus is alive! From heartfelt worship to meaningful moments of community, every part of the morning pointed us back to the hope of the resurrection.

As part of this year’s Easter service, each family received a potted tulip—a gift to take home and plant as a symbol of new life. The tulip, one of the first flowers to bloom in spring, serves as a living reminder that what once looked lifeless can rise again in beauty and strength—just like our Savior. Our prayer is that as these tulips bloom in yards and gardens in the weeks ahead, they will remind each household that resurrection is real, that hope is alive, and that Jesus is still at work bringing life from death.

After service, the sanctuary was filled with laughter and excitement as our youngest attenders enjoyed a fun-filled indoor Easter egg hunt. Colorful eggs were tucked into corners and under chairs, and little hands eagerly searched high and low to find them all. It was a joyful time of celebration and connection for families, volunteers, and children alike.

Whether it was through the message of the Gospel, the songs we lifted together, the tulips gifted, or the smiles of our children hunting eggs, Easter 2025 reminded us that Jesus is still making all things new. He’s still moving, still saving, still calling hearts back to life.

Thank you to everyone who served, worshiped, and celebrated with us this Easter. May your tulips bloom as a sign of hope, and may your heart stay anchored in the truth of the risen Christ.

He is risen—He is risen indeed!
