Welcome to the EC Family!

On July 21, 2024, we had the joy of officially welcoming Lori Chasse, along with her sweet granddaughter Adaleigh, into the Encounter Church family as members. It was a beautiful moment of commitment and connection—one that reflects the heart of what it means to belong to the body of Christ.

Lori's decision to join our church family was not just a formality—it was a declaration of faith, unity, and purpose. It was a way of saying, “This is my church. These are my people. And I’m ready to grow, serve, and worship with them.”

As a church in the Methodist tradition, welcoming a new member is grounded in rich spiritual heritage and a deeply meaningful creed of commitment. When someone becomes a member, they respond to the historic questions of faith and discipleship rooted in our Wesleyan identity. Lori stood before her church family and affirmed these essential beliefs and promises.

With those powerful words, Lori and Adaleigh were officially welcomed—not just as guests or attendees, but as family.

We’re so thankful for the Chasse family and can’t wait to see how God uses their gifts and stories to build up His Kingdom here at Encounter.
